About the Project

Polysolar has installed a new solar PV facade at Liverpool South Parkway station.

South Parkway is one of four train stations serving Liverpool - the others being Central, James Street, and Lime Street. Nearly three million people use the station each year

The station won Network Rail's annual Environment Award for its sustainable design, including the use of solar energy, recycled materials and rainwater harvesting. However, the solar PV facade used old technology and was having technical problems resulting in low generation. The new facade is rated at 12.375 kW and has been installed using Polysolar PS-MC-ST-series panels.
